Senior Portraits, Family Portraits, Wedding Photographer serving South Central Wisconsin.
We just loved our graduation picture taking experience with Kim – we felt at ease and comfortable, especially while her husband threw the football at my son! She really captured many different expressions and had an abundance of quality photos to choose from. Our prints were also well-received by friends and family, and our fireplace mantle is all set with the large canvas photo of my grown-up “baby”.
After a long search, my daughter and I chose Kim as our photographer because of the beautiful photos on her website. When I called for an appointment with Kim, I was astonished at the amount of time and preparation she put into finding out what we would like to spend our time on when we came out for the photo shoot. We had a huge selection of photos to choose from and I was delighted to know that I would be able to keep as many of the proofs as I chose to, simply by downloading them from the site. The finished photos and collages are delightful, and I look forward to having Kim as our family photographer in the future for school and family events.
My Senior Photo shoot with Kim was more than I expected. She really put alot of time and effort into it; you can tell she really enjoys this. The pictures turned out WONDERFUL…I am more than happy with them. I would totally recommend getting your pictures done by her!
The photos that Kim took for my senior pictures turned out better than I ever would have thought. You can tell she has a lot of passion for photography. She put so much time into my senior photos, before and after the shoot. I am so grateful that I found such an amazing photographer who really puts a great amount of time into her work. I recommend Kim to anyone out there who is looking for great photos that match who they are inside and out.
Kim took my senior pictures and I couldn’t imagnie being any happier with the results! She stays in touch with you throughout it all and is willing to do ANYTHING to make sure you’ll be completely satisfied with the photos! I’ve known quite a lot of people who took pictures through Kim and not one of them had a bad thing to say! I was nervous to take my senior pictures but the second I arrived Kim made me feel extremely comfortable. She asked me before and while taking the photos if there was anything I really wanted in the background and worked with that. I loved the photos that she took, but once I saw the edits I COMPLETELY fell in love with them! She spends a lot of time on everyone that she takes pictures of. Kim really loves her job and it shows through the work! I’m going to send my brother and everyone else who asks who i’d recommed to Kim! I was VERYYY satisfied!!
We are extremely satisfied with my son’s senior pictures taken with Kim. Everything was wonderful throughout the session. She was very creative and fun to work with. She has great outside sites, and also included shots with my older son and his motorcycle which she included with no extra fees. The pictures were available to look at the same day we had them taken. I would recommend Kim to anyone looking for great pictures with awesome service.
I had such a great time with kim! She was so friendly, patient, and creative! I really enjoyed working with her for my senior photos, and the ones she took turned out so great! and after she took them, they were up on her website the same night! thats not something you would find just around the corner. I recommend that anyone who is on the fence about where to go for their pictures, choose kim, because she does the best job, and its at the best price!
I thought long and hard on where to take my senior photos and after I looked at Kim’s previous work I knew that she had just what I was looking for. She spent time before and after my session to ensure that I truly did receive the pictures that best suited myself. She puts a lot of work into each session and you can see that her passion really is photography. I would recommend Kim to everyone because the time and effort she puts into each picture is incredible and results in unique pictures that resemble who you are.
Kim took our family photo this October and we couldn’t be happier with the results. She is extremely professional, friendly and her passion for photography is obvious. She is very affordable priced and I would highly recommend her to my friends and family.
Kim took family pictures for us @ Thanksgiving. I was a amazed @ the Quality & Quantity of pictures to choose from. The Zenfolio site is so easy to order from. My wife & I took care of ordering our Christmas cards & several family photos in about 1/2 hour.
The prices are very reasonable & they’re shipped right to our door. We look forward to working with Kjay again in the future!

Kim did a WONDERFUL job with my daughter. She made her feel like a model. Kim knew exactly what she was doing so she was efficient with the time and it went like clock work. My daughter had a great time. The price was so worth the product. The pictures are beautiful and so many people have said it is quality work. Kim took my daughters pics for several Spotlight Dance Academy shows. The pictures always turn out great, and they come really quickly, too…couldnt be happier!
Kim did a fantastic job with our family photos! We have 4 small children so it’s not an easy task. She did a great job of getting a nice posed family portrait as well as taking fun shots when sitting still and posing wasn’t an option. We got a wonderful family picture, picture of our kids together and many single shots of each one. We were very happy with her work and would recommend her to everyone. Thanks Kim!!
I needed some 8X10s in a hurry and a friend had told me about Kim and KJAY PHOTOS. I had seen the pictures that Kim had taken of her family and just LOVED them. I’ve had professional photos taken before, but I have to say that no other photographer took as much time and care, and the photos are great! Kim and I emailed back and forth and then had a lengthy phone conversation. She wanted to be sure that she had a “vision” of what I needed before the date on which she would photograph me. From the first email to the time when I actually ordered the photos, Kim acted as a partner in my venture. Her advice and professionalism helped to make the photo shoot fun and exciting. She is so enthusiastic about her work and it comes through during the entire process. I felt that she took care of my every need and made me feel comfortable. Kim even “walked” me through the process of ordering my photos online! I needed them in a week. We took the shots on a Thursday and they were in my hands by the next Tuesday!!! She even helped me to put it as my new profile picture on FB. As soon as it was posted, friends from far and wide gave it great reviews! Kim is an extraordinary find as a person, advisor and photographer. I am quite certain that you will find the entire experience to exceed any expectations you may have. I trusted her with my photos and you can trust her with yours!
I needed a professional business portrait to go on a website for a conference speaking engagement. Kim accomodated my schedule, it was quick and painless, and she even helped me with the appropriate attire & colors…all the things that are important to a GUY in booking a photo sitting!

My daughter, a soon-to-be senior at Memorial, recently completed her senior photo session with Kim. It was so nice meeting and working with Kim. She is an excellent photographer with an eye for color, texture and setting. Throughout the session Kim made my daughter feel comfortable and continuously thought of creative shots to show her personality and beauty. She went above and beyond to shoot pictures that both my daughter and I would like. There were so many wonderful pictures that choosing our favorites was our hardest job!! I would highly recommend Kim to anyone looking for an excellent photographer who takes the time and makes the effort to produce quality photographs. Her prices were very affordable too!! Kim did an amazing job with my son, a Monona Grove senior. She did a wonderful job with his sports shot and had great ideas on the outdoor shots. She always kept him moving, which was perfect for a 17 year old boy!. She had such an amazing memory and was so careful to not duplicate any shots from other kids from our high school who also used Kim as their senior photographer. We were able to view his poses within 24 hours! Ordering prints was a simple process, and prices were very reasonable. I was so impressed with the fast service, and the wonderful care she took with us, as I am sure she does with all of her customers. I would highly recommned Kim as your photographer, and I hope to use her again in the future.
